This abandoned grain elevator is located in the village of Dorothy, Alberta (population 12). The elevator used to store grain for the Alberta Pacific Grain Company on a Canadian Pacific Railway branch line (long since closed). The elevator itself was one of three in Dorothy, but closed in 1951.
